Hi, I’m Stephanie — a real estate agent, a mom, a wife, and someone who’s just beginning to understand what life with multiple sclerosis really means.
I’m just a few months shy of turning 50, and this isn’t exactly the chapter I imagined. Like many others, I brushed off years of subtle symptoms — unexplained fatigue, dizziness, numbness, memory lapses, and that nagging feeling that something was off. I chalked it up to stress, aging, even burnout. But the truth was louder: I was living with undiagnosed MS.
Now, with a new diagnosis in hand, I’m learning how to navigate daily life while managing symptoms that don’t always make sense, on a timeline that often doesn’t feel fair. Some days are full of energy and clarity — others require a bit more grace and a lot more rest. I'm still figuring it out.
But what I do know is this: I’m not giving up the life I’ve built. I’m learning how to live it differently.
By day, I’m a full-time real estate agent based in coastal North Carolina, working alongside my two incredible sons, helping families and longtime locals find their way home. I’ve moved countless times myself (military life will do that), and I understand the emotions that come with every new beginning — including this one.
This blog is a space to share my journey honestly — the highs, the hard moments, and everything in between. You’ll find posts about living with MS, staying organized when your brain won’t cooperate, navigating a demanding career with compassion, and finding resilience in unexpected places.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, supporting someone with MS, or just here for real-life encouragement and perspective, I’m so glad you’re here.
We’re all finding our way through something.
This is me, finding mine.
We may be navigating different roads, but you’re not walking alone.
Welcome to the journey.
Let’s show up — together.
